Who Are We?
We were founded by area Christian business leaders in 2001 with an idea to better showcase area ministries and produce a signature event that glorifies God and promotes the Gospel message. Alive on the Lakeshore has grown into the year-round role of consultant, counselor, friend, trainer and collaborator with the para-church ministry community. Offering all of our services at no cost to the ministries, Alive has worked to promote excellence in ministry operations, fund raising, staff and Board development and has worked to encourage partnership, idea sharing and a community of support and prayer in the Christian non-profit space.

Over the past 25 years, together Alive on the Lakeshore has donated more than $1.5 million to ministries feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, mentoring youth, and offering hope to the forgotten.

Alive on the Lakeshore is the organization behind the Unity Christian Music Festival held annually at Heritage Landing in Muskegon, MI. Unity has grown to be the largest annual event in Muskegon, drawing over 50,000 attendees each year and is one of America’s largest Christian festivals!

In addition to Unity Christian Music Festival, Alive on the Lakeshore produces a number of other events across Michigan every year including Christian concerts and One in Christ Collaborative trainings and conferences. ​

By bringing together diverse expertise and shared purpose, the Collaborative creates opportunities to connect, support, and inspire one another. Guided by faith, they combine their resources and talents to develop solutions and take actionable steps to strengthen their communities.
